During your holidays in the South of France, come and see the delightful town of Rodez, the hub of the Aveyron in the Midi-Pyrénées region. You'll be bowled over by this really dynamic town in which history and art come together. Discover its famous monuments and pay a visit to the cathedral of Notre-Dame, completed during the early 16th century and listed as a historic monument. You'll love its red steeple which reaches a height of more than 87 metres, looking out over Vieux-Rodez. It's also a town in which art is found everywhere, with all sorts of museums to visit, including the famous Musée Soulages.

Here, 500 works and documents left by the artist himself are exhibited, making for an unmissable cultural stop-off. Don't miss the other museums in town either, including the Fenaille museum, which is home to an extraordinary collection of menhirs, or the Denys-Puech museum of fine arts.
